UptimePartner is an internal field-operations app used by Winday Associates’ service technicians and sales staff. It lets the team manage service tickets, capture sales leads, generate quotations and invoices, and upload supporting documents from the field. This page explains what data the app collects, why, how it is stored, and what choices users have.
UptimePartner collects only what is needed to operate the field workflow.
| Data | Why we collect it | When |
|---|---|---|
| Staff username, name, role, mobile number | Authenticate the staff member, route work to them, and show identity in audit trails | Created by the Winday administrator before sign-in |
| Customer name, phone, email, company, site address | Service ticket and lead workflow — so the team can contact the customer and visit the right site | Entered by staff during lead capture or assigned by the admin |
| Site GPS coordinates (lat/lng) | Attach the correct site location to a newly captured lead | Only at the moment the staff member taps “Capture Lead” — not continuously tracked |
| File uploads (BOQs, drawings, attachments) | Give the admin and accounts team the documents needed to quote, invoice, and deliver | When the staff member picks a file and uploads it to a lead or ticket |
| Operational events (visit timestamps, status changes, notes) | Provide Winday leadership with an audit trail of field work | Generated by the app as staff use it |
| Anonymous device + session identifiers | Maintain login state within the WebView session | Created on first launch; not linked to advertising identifiers |
UptimePartner does not collect: contacts, calendar entries, microphone audio, SMS, call logs, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or background location.
Data is never sold and is never shared with advertisers. We use the following processors only as needed to operate the service.
| Processor | What is shared | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | All app data listed above | Database, file storage, authentication |
| Giddh | Customer name, line items, totals, tax rate | Mirroring quotes and invoices into the accounting system |
| Google Play Services | Anonymous crash reports (if enabled by the OS) | Stability monitoring |
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
Data is stored on Supabase’s servers in the ap-south-1 (Mumbai) region. File attachments live in Supabase Storage in the same region. Backups are held by Supabase on the same region. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher.
Operational records (tickets, leads, invoices, attachments) are retained as long as the customer relationship is active, plus seven years for accounting compliance under the Indian Companies Act. Files attached to deleted leads or tickets are removed within 30 days of deletion.
Staff members and customers can request:
Email privacy@windayamc.com with the request. We will respond within 30 days.
All requests between UptimePartner and our backend use HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Staff credentials
are stored in the Supabase staff table managed by Winday administrators; access
is gated by the staff member’s username and password. File uploads inherit Supabase’s
storage permissions, scoped to paths under leads/<lead-id> and
tickets/<ticket-id>.
UptimePartner is a workplace tool intended for adult employees of Winday Associates. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change. The “Effective date” at the top reflects the most recent revision.
| Android permission | Why it’s needed | When asked |
|---|---|---|
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Sync with the Winday backend | Always — required to function |
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION | Capture the GPS coordinates of a customer site during lead capture | Only when the staff member taps “Capture Lead” — declined gracefully if the user refuses |
The app does not request: camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call logs, background location, or device admin.
